Groot is complete! For my second carving (sculpture?) ever, I think it’s a decent representation of the subject. The last picture shows a side by side of the movie still and what I ended up with. Thanos' Infinity Gauntlet carving by @cyclocrosscutter.

Official @artofgeekchallenge entry. This is The Infinity Gauntlet wielded by Thanos. It's made with a Red Oak base and Cherry accents. The Infinity Stones from epoxy. Most of the carving was done with @kingarthurstools Holey Galahad and Merlin 2 power carving tools. Some of the finer details were done with @flexcut_tools carving chisels. I hope you like it. #aogavengers

Avengers themed storage coffee table by @rowland_custom_woodworking.

Finished up a storage coffee table wrapped in #marvelcomics #avengers fabric for the living room today. Just in time for @artofgeekchallenge avengers challenge. Each side opens up for toy storage. And it doubles as a jungle gym for my 1 yr old. I cushioned the lids so we have additional seating for the kids. I don't build many things for the family, but I love this thing.
